Script:   SelectParam ("CenterCrayX", "CenterGrayY")

Select these parameters to compute the intensity-weighted center of gravity of objects. The intensity-weighted center of gravity is defined from the object's gray-value moments as the point, where the intensity above and below balance in the y direction, and the intensity on the left and right balance in the x direction.

The following formulas are used:
centergrayx

where

Xi and Yi are horizontal and vertical coordinates of each pixel within the object,
Ii is the intensity (gray level) of the current pixel
N is number of pixels in the object.

In the Field Measurements
the intensity-weighted center of gravity is calculated for the whole phase rather than for separate objects.

Both Spatial
and Intensity calibration are taken into account when calculating CenterGrayX and CenterGrayY. Both parameters are returned in calibrated units.
