Use this command to select the video source settings for a DCAM compliant camera connected through the FireWire interface. The corresponding video driver must be selected in the Video Preferences
.

If you choose this command, the Video Settings dialog box will appear. Click the Video Source tab, and you will see the following options:

Camera

Displays the vendor's name and model of the currently selected camera. If you have more than one camera connected through the FireWire interface, you can switch to another camera by choosing the corresponding camera name in the list. Note that the same choice is provided in the Select Device filed of the Video Preferences.

Zoom

Move this slider to adjust the zoom of the camera lens. Note that this option is available only for the cameras that support the software zoom control.

Focus

Move this slider to adjust the focus of the camera lens. Note that this option is available only for the cameras that support the software focus control.

Checking the box will either put a camera to the continuous automatic control of the feature, or will momentarily adjust the feature to the optimal setting and switch back to the manual control with the slider.

Bayer conversion

Enable this option to activate the Bayer conversion. Bayer images are generated by one-chip CCD cameras which have a color filter mosaic array (CFA) installed in front of the sensor. Enabling this option will transform such a monochrom video into RGB video by performing the Bayer color reconstruction (demosaicing).

Bayer layout

Lets you define the layout of the Bayer filter by selecting two first elements of the first row of the incoming Bayer video. he most frequently used Bayer pattern has the following layout:

G
B

R
