Script:   setDrawColor, setFillColor

Use these settings to modify draw color
or fill color for RGB and palettized images. When you double-click the Draw box or the Fill box on the Palette Bar, or when you double-click the right mouse button or the left mouse button in the Palette Pane for the draw color or the fill color respectively, the Color dialog box will appear with the following options:

Basic colors

Shows the basic colors available. To select a color color, click the closest basic color.

Color matrix

To select a color, click anywhere in the matrix. Change hue by moving the pointer horizontally; change saturation by moving the pointer vertically. Use the slider to the right of the matrix to adjust luminosity.

Custom colors

Displays any custom colors you have already defined. To change the settings for a custom color, click it and then specify different color settings. To define a new custom color, click an empty custom color box, specify a different color, and then click the Add to Custom Colors button.

Add to Custom Colors

Click this button to add the color you have defined to Custom colors.

Color|Solid

Displays the currently selected color. If your monitor is set to display 256 colors, this box may show two colors. The right side shows how the selected color will appear as a solid color (that is, which of the available 256 colors the selected color will map to). The left side shows the dithered color, which is the approximation of the specified color using two of the available 256 colors.

Hue

To define the hue (red, yellow, green, or blue) for the selected color, type the desired value between 0 and 239. To experiment with different colors, drag the pointer around the Color matrix.

Sat

To define the saturation (the strength or purity of color in a specified hue) for the selected color, type the desired value between 0 and 240. To experiment with different colors, drag the pointer around the Color matrix.

Lum

To define the luminosity (the lightness or darkness in a color) for the selected color, type the desired value between 0 (black) and 240 (white). If Sat (saturation) is 0, Lum specifies a shade of gray. To experiment with luminosity, move the slider next to the Color matrix. Note that if you move the slider to either upper or lower extreme position, the Color|Solid pane doesn't seem to response to the changes in the Hue and Sat values. This is because the upper slider position corresponds to white (0), and the lower slider position corresponds to black (240), and these colors don't have the hue and saturation characteristics. To enable Hue and Sat, move the slider a little from its extreme position.

Red, Green, Blue

To define the amount of red, green and blue respectively in the selected color, type the desired values within the range of 0-255. To experiment with different colors, drag the pointer around the Color matrix.

OK

Closes the dialog box and modifies the draw color or fill color. Note that If the currently selected image is a palettized one, ImageWarp will replace the color with the closest available match from the image palette.

Cancel

Closes the dialog box without performing any action.
