Change the compression options for the JPEG and TIFF image types and AVI video or adjust settings for RAW image type.

JPEG Compression

Move the slider to the right to increase the amount of compression in the image. Note that the amount of compression applied to an image directly affects the quality – more compression means a lower quality while less compression means a higher quality.

TIFF Compression

Click No Compression if you don't want to have the TIFF file compressed.
Click LZW to choose the Lempel Ziff Welch dictionary-based image compression method.
Click Packbits to store an image using the PackedBits compression method.

RAW Options

Enter the header size in bytes into Offset box. If image pixels are stored at the very beginning of the file, set Offset to zero. Check Gray box to explicitly indicate that the image should be stored as a gray one.

AVI Compression

The Compressor box lists the video compression codecs installed in your system. Click the arrow next to the box and browse through the list to choose the codec you want to use. To increase the amount of compression in the video, move the Compression Quality slider to the right (the slider appears dimmed if the codec doesn't support this function). To change any additional settings provided by the codec manufacturer, press the Configure button (the button appears dimmed if the codec doesn't support this function). To find out any information on the codec manufacturer, press the About button (the button appears dimmed if there is no information supplied with the codec).

Note – Some codecs support only certain image types, so you may need to convert an image into the type supported by the codec you want to use. To find out information on the compatibility of a codec, contact the codec vendor.

Cancel

Closes the dialog box without performing any action.

Note – you can export an image from ImageWarp by using drag-and-drop operation. Click any point in the image and drag it to the Desktop, Windows Explorer or any other drag-and-drop compatible application. The file format in which the image will be exported could be selected in the Preferences.
