This tab of the Preferences
dialog box lets you adjust the settings for the information reported in the Status Bar.

Selection size

Select this check box if you want ImageWarp to display the width and height of the bounding rectangle of the current image selection in the correspondent pane of the status bar. If the active image does not have any selection, the dimensions of the whole image will be displayed instead.

Default value: Enabled

Cursor position

Select this check box to have ImageWarp display the X and Y coordinates of the mouse cursor in the correspondent pane of the status bar. If the active image is spatially calibrated and Calibrated units option is selected, ImageWarp will report the coordinates in calibrated units, otherwise the cursor position is reported in pixels.

Default value: Enabled

Spatial unit

Select this check box to display the name of the spatial unit for the active image in the correspondent pane of the status bar. If the image is not spatially calibrated, no unit will be displayed.

Default value: Enabled

Pixel value

Select this check box to have ImageWarp display the value of the pixel pointed by the mouse cursor in the correspondent pane of the status bar. The format in which the pixel values are reported depends on the type of the active image. The following table shows the formats used to display pixel values for each image type supported by ImageWarp:

Image type
Gray 8-, 16-, 32-bit, floating point

RGB 16-, 24-, 32-, 48-bit
Palettized 1-, 4-, 8-bit

Complex
Displayed components
Intensity
Red, Green, Blue
Index, Red, Green, Blue
(Re, Im) or (Amp, Ph)

If the active image is intensity-calibrated and Calibrated units option is selected, ImageWarp will report the pixel values in calibrated units, otherwise the actual pixel values are reported.

Default value: Enabled

Intensity unit

Select this check box to display the name of the intensity unit for the active image in the correspondent pane of the status bar. If the image is not intensity-calibrated, no unit will be displayed.

Default value: Enabled

Show benchmarks

Select this check box to have ImageWarp report the execution time of the processing functions in the correspondent pane of the status bar.

Default value: Enabled

Show progress

Select this check box to have ImageWarp display progress indicators on the status bar while performing image processing and analysis. When several functions are executed at the same time in multithreading mode, several progress indicators will be displayed, one for each thread.

Default value: Enabled

Calibrated units

Select this check box to have ImageWarp display X and Y coordinates and pixel values on the status bar in accordance to the current spatial and intensity scales. If the box is unchecked, the coordinates and values will be shown in pixels.

Default value: Disabled
