Convert

Use the Convert menu to convert images from one type to another, to split multi-band images into individual components or to merge the components together.

Click… To… RGB (48 bit) convert an image into an RGB 48-bit high-depth color image. RGB (32 bit) convert an image into an RGB 32-bit true-color bitmap with an alpha channel. RGB (24 bit) convert an image into an RGB 24-bit true-color bitmap. RGB (16 bit) convert an image into an RGB 16-bit high-color bitmap. Palettized (8 bit) convert an image into a 256-color bitmap. Palettized (4 bit) convert an image into a 16-color bitmap. Grayscale (8 bit) convert an image into an 8-bit standard grayscale image. Grayscale (16 bit) convert an image into a 16-bit high-depth grayscale image. Grayscale (32 bit) convert an image into a 32-bit high-depth grayscale image. Floating (32 bit) convert an image into a 32-bit floating point grayscale image. Complex (64 bit) convert an image into a 64-bit floating point complex grayscale image. Multiphase convert an image into a multiphase 256-band palettized image. Bitmap (1 bit) convert an image into a 2-color bitmap. Split/Merge channels split an image into color channels or merge such channels into an image. Sequence convert an image into a sequence.
